The Final Stretch

Crop for Cancer is here--This weekend!
Can you believe it? This is a sold out event!! If you didn't get your ticket already, we are sorry, but you will have to try to come next year.

Here is what you need to remember:

The day before:

1. CFC is trying to be more "green", so, pack a water bottle . We will have ice and water for you to fill it throughout the day.

2. Finalize your pledges and add them up. Remember, you get one door prize ticket for every $50 you donate or raise from friends and family. If you are doing on-line fund raising, we will check your balance at 10 am on April 10 to count towards your pledge totals.

3. If you are bringing your computer, please charge your battery!! We will need to take turns recharging throughout the day and we don't want you to get a late start.

4. If you are bringing an Electronic die-cutting machine, we ask you to label your machine and store it on a tool table, where only 2 can be running at the same time. We apologize in advance for this, but ConocoPhillips has had power outages due to too many electrical devices running at once.

5. Pack items to be scanned. You will be able to get 5 photos or 2 layouts or kids' artwork scanned for Free by Jennifer Stratton, one of our vendors. You can also bring anything else you want scanned for a fee.

6. Pack a check or credit card. We will be hosting a "Heads n' Tails" game, be selling Luminaries to honor those who have survived or succumbed to cancer, selling "grab bags" of traditional scrap items, hosting a Silent Auction, and signing people up for the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network. Also, we will have three vendors at the event: Memory Works, Creative Memories and Heritage Makers.

The day of:

1. Pull up to the main entrance of the ConocoPhillips Building on G St between 7th and 8th to unload, then park your car. ConocoPhillips has opened their parking lot to us for free. It is located North of the Marriott between 6th and 7th. If you prefer covered parking, the Muni garage charges $1/hr and you can enter on the G St entrance between 6th and 7th. It takes a credit card to exit. Please note G St is a one-way street (North to South). Hockey or Soccer Girls will be available to help cart your stuff in. They appreciate tips to fund team events.

2. Choose a spot to sit and fill out your registration card to be entered for door prize drawings. You can also choose to buy necklaces for heads and tails and grab bags at this time. Then bring your card to the front desk to finalize your check in.

3. Do the vendor relay. Visit the Vendor booths and the American Cancer Society booth to earn more door prize tickets. Bring your relay card to be initialed, then turn it into the front desk for more door prize tickets.

4. Bid on Silent Auction items--scrap supplies, personal care, outdoor clothing, home goods and jewelry are available. Remember Bid High and Bid Often-- all the money raised goes to American Cancer Society for Cancer!!

5. Scrap and enjoy visiting with friends :)
